【NZ語学研修】Last Day in School and Sayonara Party

After their second weekend, the students spent the day in Tairua school for the last time. In the morning, all the students prepared thank you letters for their host families. Each student also wrote an English speech ahead of the Sayonara party.

Everyone was then invited to play typical New Zealand games with some Tairua students. They played 3 games called "Buddy Up, Buddy Down", "Chairs", and "Goosh".

Lunchtime was the opportunity to spend a last time with recently made friends, but also play some rugby and other games.

The Sayonara Party was held in the evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
After some opening speeches, the students performed the song "Cherry"

The boys then danced on senbonzakura (千本桜)

After which the girls performed on maruokajyou monogatari (丸岡城物語)

The students then made a speech about their New Zealand experience.

Each student then received a course completion certificate from Phil and Rowan

Both Phil and Rowan then got a special card from all the students.

Finally, it was time for everyone to enjoy the buffet and share last precious moments together.
