【NZ語学研修】Waimarino Adventure Park

After the weekend spent with their host families, students all met bright and early to go on an excursion to Waimarino Adventure Park. The bus journey to the Park was filled with students sharing their personal experiences with friends they had not seen in the last 2 days.
We arrrived at Waimarino Adventure Park as scheduled and everyone carefully followed the safety instructions from the staff.
Every student was required to wear a life jacket...

...before being invited to jump in the water.

The water park had many activties, such as the high diving board, the UFO, the hydro slide, kayak, beach volleyball, low ropes course, and a warm pool.

After all this swimming, running, jumping, climbing, and playing, everyone enjoyed a delicious barbecue (BBQ).
This was a day full of excitement to start the week. Tomorrow, students will head back to school to learn about Maori culture and Maori arts and crafts.
Today's discovery: "Wai" means "water" in Te Reo (Maori language)
